Lately I have been impressed with Britney’s introduction into the electronic world. She has done a good job on her own but I think the remixes is what took her to the top. Out of the many genres of today there is a relatively new style going around. They call it Glitch. Glitch consists of a steady bass line and a down tempo melody. The key to it though is  to stop and start very quickly in order to create that glitchy sound ergo Glitch. That’s what it sounds like at least. This artist has mastered this new genre hence their name The Glitch Mob. The group  made a name for themselves by playing live and choosing to perform with laptops and MIDI controllers. They have won fans through showcasing their chosen technology during performance solos that gained attention in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Eventually they began touring more widely along the West Coast and then to various festivals worldwide. This a BRAND NEW song that I just got about 8 minutes ago. Enjoy!

Also! The Glitch Mob will be at Trees in Dallas, TX on July 6th! Tickets are only $15!! Regardless if you like it or not, it’d be worth the experience.

Far Too Loud, a.k.a. Oli Cash, has gained a significant reputation in dance music for quality, dancefloor-destroying production. Originally rooted in breakbeat, the FTL sound was quickly recognized as being something different through the influence of other styles of dance music. Over the past four years the sound has developed and diversified but maintained the mix of hard-hitting beats, dirty bass lines, detailed production and twisted sound design that has set FTL apart from the rest. Far Too Loud is probably one of the best electro house artists I’ve heard in a while. THIS MIX IS NUTS!! I highly suggest the download.
