Some Shit I Found…

7 May

So I’m done. I finally ended this dreadful semester. And, in my true nature whilst studying, I managed to scrape a bit of Beatport and other internets with a twitch of electricity, I managed to get a good amount of stuff. Some good, some great. Ultimately up for you to decide.

Sorry I’m not going to leave a longer and more witty post, but fuck you. I’ve been up for going on 40 hours now, learning the obvious of how the hippies ruled the 60s, making tacos for frat dudes, and finding this badass stuff for you lads.

Pardon me if that sounded offensive, I’m listening to the pink monkey of my sleep deprived illusions… he’s a lovable asshole.

Anyways, here you go!

James Welch

5 May

So first off.. Nocturnal = Amazing. If you haven’t gotten tickets for EDC yet then do it now!! After recovering from tonsillitis and studying for finals, there was one mix that kept my head moving. The Finals Mix from James Welch definitely grabbed my attention and put me back on my game. James comes from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has been putting his spin on music for a while now. This mix has many genuine sounds to it, unlike something I’ve ever heard before. Very smooth, laid back, mellow, I just can’t describe it. I highly suggest grabbing this mix, when you listen to it, just let sound move through you. This is a study aid for sure.

Guaranteed A+.

The Daily Whiz

15 Apr

Cheeseheads, welcome. In today’s whiz I want to feature one of my favorite artists, Wick-It The Instigator. It’s been seven years since Wick-It began rocking the treble & bass, he’s developed quite a following among the fans of Nashville’s hip-hop underground. Aside from his hip-hop game, Wick-It had some tricks up his sleeve. Those aces were some grimy dubstep tracks, and trust me, it won the game. The hard hitting wobbles will put you on the ground in an audiogasm.
