Alright, so I made a post about Feed Me LAST week, I realize that, but this is important.
It’s nothing much (and I don’t have downloads available for anything), but if you want to feel giddy with excitement any, you should probably check out the samples to Feed Me’s upcoming EP “Feed Me to the Stars.”
I don’t know the release date, or even how many tracks are on it (PLEASE be more than four), but in true Mouse Husic fashion I’ll keep you posted.
So here you are.
Cheeseheads, welcome. In today’s whiz I want to feature one of my favorite artists, Wick-It The Instigator. It’s been seven years since Wick-It began rocking the treble & bass, he’s developed quite a following among the fans of Nashville’s hip-hop underground. Aside from his hip-hop game, Wick-It had some tricks up his sleeve. Those aces were some grimy dubstep tracks, and trust me, it won the game. The hard hitting wobbles will put you on the ground in an audiogasm.
“I want to strike a balance between what works and what’s fun” -Wick-It

Jon Gooch (a.k.a. Feed Me and drum & bass artist Spor) has been making some serious waves in the Drum & Bass scene for years, only now is he showing all his fans that genres are bullshit and moving out of D&B and creating whatever the hell he wants, enter Feed Me’s Big Adventure. This wasn’t an album, this was Frankenstein’s monster. Coming to life with every kind of electronic noise you could think of, and in the process killing us with each of its absolutely massive tracks. The album quickly shot to the top of the Beatport charts, and stayed there until it was good and well ready to come down (which was awhile), and with tracks like Grand Theft Ecstasy and Cloudburn, it wasn’t without reason. Big Adventure was a nice way to show people that different worlds of electro could, in fact, exist on the same album.
Now, I only learned of Feed Me’s existence late last year with the release of Big Adventure, but it didn’t take long for his hard style electro to begin burrowing into my subconscious. And if I’m just now introducing him to you, prepare for inception.
We all thought it might have been fake. With a preview that left a lot to be desired and a less than admirable day to announce it’s very existence, April fools day. BUT IT’S HERE AND REAL! Skrillex and Korn, and it is HEAVY!!
*EDIT* Skrillex himself just let this one out on his YouTube channel, his so called “Directors Cut.” Not too different in my opinion, but all the same, needs to be heard!
What’s up my fellow cheeseheads?? Sorry for the late post, the internet connection here is awful. Wise had a very good thing posted the other day. I just want to also give you my personal thanks as well. You guys are great and we appreciate all the support so far!
In today’s whiz I want to feature the dynamic, two man based Electro production out of Cleveland,OH. They call themselves DIGIRAATII. DIGIRAATII developed onto the electronic music scene, in early 2009, and has been killing it ever since. Authorizing themselves, from the start, as electronic music’s own “digital elite” or digerati. They suddenly made a name for themselves by causing a near panic in every direction, every time they hit the tables. Equipped with their heart pounding bass lines and chaotic melodies, I can’t stop listening.
Here are a couple previews they have recently released.
Skyrunner – Red Rooms (DIGIRATTII Remix) (Preview)
Machine Gun Kelley (feat. Aaron Lafette) – Fantasy (DIGIRATTII Remix)
DIGIRAATII – The Thrill Can Kill (Hot Mess Remix) (Preview)

We’ve found the WMDs that Bush was going crazy all those years ago! But they weren’t in the Middle East, they’ve been being built in the UK, of all places, by a man they call Calvertron, and I’m convinced he wants to destroy your house with dubstep.
Calvertron has been doing the rounds for awhile, making some sick remixes and mashups in the past couple of years, but damnit it this doesn’t do something to solidify him as someone we need to keep a VERY CLOSE EYE on. These tracks are just absolutely massive.
But in all seriousness, bolt down everything in your house and crank this guy, you’ll be thankful you did.
Edit: While I’m on the subject of Dubstep, theres something from our old friend Rusko (and remixed by Netsky) that we all need to hear.
Alright.. So I am going to count down the days until Nocturnal Festival 2011 (Rockdale, TX). For the next 18 days I want to bring to you the artists that will be playing live at the festival. If you have not yet gotten tickets already, get them now!!!
Also, I have a new P.I.C, randomgoat, he will be helping with the site and the upcoming posts.
This first artist I am featuring goes by the name of Pendulum. The group originated in Perth, Australia before moving to the UK in 2003. The group is composed of Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding. Most of you may already know Mr. Swire for his most famous work with Deadmau5 in Ghost ‘n’ Stuff. In 2005, the group had released their first album called ‘Hold Your Colour’. The album was one of the biggest selling drum ‘n’ bass albums of all time and was a HIT throughout the UK and Australia. The Pendulum sound is most comprised of heavy beats accompanied by low, buzzing basslines and overlaid with epic synthesized leads. They’ve produced multiple remixes of other artists, the most well-known being their remix of Voodoo People by The Prodigy. Now, Pendulum has warped from the drum ‘n’ bass scene and stepped into a new dimension. Most of their latest tracks include that nice “dubby” sound and some ridiculous wobbles. I was empowered by their new sound and this HUGE transformation.
Here is their most recent album. Set me on Fire and The Island Pt. II Dusk is included. Tracklist below.
2. Salt in the Wounds
4. Set me on Fire
6. Under the Waves
7. Immunize (feat. Liam Howlett)
8. The Island Pt. I Dawn
9. The Island Pt. II Dusk
11. The Vulture
13. Self vs. Self (feat. Inflames)
14. The Fountain (feat. Steven Wilson)
Saturday is when I spend the least time at my computer so today’s post is going to be a quick one. This new tune was freshly grown out of the leafy country of Canada. Zeds Dead will also being playing live at Nocturnal! Get your tickets while you still can!!
Jason Falkner – Only You (Zeds Dead Remix)
Also, I’m going to being trying out some new themes here in the next week. They will be interactive and interesting. Feedback and support would be awesome!
