Look at this fucking HYPSTER!

27 Apr

Hypster’s “The Neon Uprising” is, quite simply… how do I say this? Shit man, it’s amazing. Really caught me by surprise, this EP, but man am I glad that I know the name of Hypster now, because I’m actively searching for his name any chance I get.

Straight out of Ibiza (go figure), his track “The Uprising” shows very clearly how vividly his homeland influenced his music. It’s a hard time on the brain to know whether or not to be either A) Conducting an orchestra, or B) Throwing down… hard. I’m not even kidding on this, try not to act impressed when the choir kicks in (yes I said choir).

But here, have a listen for yourself.

Ah, HELL yeah!

Alright, so I made a post about Feed Me LAST week, I realize that, but this is important.

It’s nothing much (and I don’t have downloads available for anything), but if you want to feel giddy with excitement any, you should probably check out the samples to Feed Me’s upcoming EP “Feed Me to the Stars.”

I don’t know the release date, or even how many tracks are on it (PLEASE be more than four), but in true Mouse Husic fashion I’ll keep you posted.

So here you are.

Star Wars Puns: Incoming

26 Apr

Darth & Vader… Jesus Christ, the force is strong with this one. Chances are, I’m not the first person to tell you about this magnificent bastard, whose heavy synth and utterly ground shaking bass, is about as close as you can actually get to battling a rancor.

And just to add to his music, the man might as well be a myth. He plays shows, then he fucking disappears into the vast blackness of space. All we know is that he comes from a galaxy far far away… called Brazile. This shit is so evil in the sexiest way I can possibly imagine.

Here’s just a couple of the songs that constantly try and force choke my eardrums. Although he’s mainly a remix artist (at the moment at least), I’ve also thrown in a couple of his collaborative efforts.

TWR72

18 Apr

TWR72 is definitely a newcomer, you can be sure of that. Despite absolutely no one knowing just who in the hell they are, doesn’t excuse the fact that the music they’ve been slowly irking out is worth yours and my attention.

TWR72, from what I can gather, is a DJ duo based out of the Netherlands that have been collaborating since 2004. When they were played on BBC Radio 1, they’re genre defining sounds were immediately described as “future techno.” Having heard all of their stuff, I can’t say that I disagree, that coupled with the fact that defining electronic music “future techno” is borderline hyperbole… I haven’t decided yet.

Anyways, I give you TWR72s Lights Out – EP

Boys Noize (aka Alex Ridha) is one of my favorite Electro DJs, and has his own label, Boys Noize Records. Since 2005,  he has signed many up and comers including DIM, Siriusmo, Housemeister, Mixhell and many others. This guy has attracted some of the best Electro talent out there!

I give you my favorite Boys Noize song “OH!” from his first album, but this is the much needed edit of the song I was looking for by VNDLSM which was then remixed by Sebastian Ingrosso and Boys Noize.

Here is a more recent song from his record label and recent release BNR: Super Acid titled 1010. Just heard it and its slow dirty electro.

Again from Super Acid, what I would like to bring you here is a fresh track from some guys I’ve not really heard much from, Harvard Bass & Bart B. The title is “Listen to This” and yes I think its an appropriate title, this song hits hard.

Cheeseheads, welcome. In today’s whiz I want to feature one of my favorite artists, Wick-It The Instigator. It’s been seven years since Wick-It began rocking the treble & bass, he’s developed quite a following among the fans of Nashville’s hip-hop underground. Aside from his hip-hop game, Wick-It had some tricks up his sleeve. Those aces were some grimy dubstep tracks, and trust me, it won the game. The hard hitting wobbles will put you on the ground in an audiogasm.

“I want to strike a balance between what works and what’s fun” -Wick-It

Day 14

15 Apr

Amid all of the announcements for this Nocturnal 2011, none of them sent my heart all aflutter like the announcement that Feed Me would be gracing us with his presence.

Jon Gooch (a.k.a. Feed Me and drum & bass artist Spor) has been making some serious waves in the Drum & Bass scene for years, only now is he showing all his fans that genres are bullshit and moving out of D&B and creating whatever the hell he wants, enter Feed Me’s Big Adventure. This wasn’t an album, this was Frankenstein’s monster. Coming to life with every kind of electronic noise you could think of, and in the process killing us with each of its absolutely massive tracks. The album quickly shot to the top of the Beatport charts, and stayed there until it was good and well ready to come down (which was awhile), and with tracks like Grand Theft Ecstasy and Cloudburn, it wasn’t without reason. Big Adventure was a nice way to show people that different worlds of electro could, in fact, exist on the same album.

Now, I only learned of Feed Me’s existence late last year with the release of Big Adventure, but it didn’t take long for his hard style electro to begin burrowing into my subconscious. And if I’m just now introducing him to you, prepare for inception.

Day #15

14 Apr

Hey, what is going on this is VOSE this is my first post up on here but I come to you with one of my favorite producers that has produced a sound that can only be described as HOUSE. Avicii (aka Tim Berg) is a Swedish DJ/producer with insane talent and sounds for a perfect house mix. He has come out with one of the biggest tracks of 2010 “Bromance” and the vocal edit “Seek Bromance”. He’s been dominating the house scene at a ripe young age of 21 now. He was at ULTRA fest in 2010 and 2011 and will be making his way to Nocturnal later this month in Austin. If you make it out to nocturnal and you miss him, you’ve missed out. His BBC essential mix is quite breathtaking as it blows me away every time. I would feel like I would have to post more about him but the essential mix is a proper introduction to this guy, and shows off his chops. Also I’m going to include his vocal edit of his new song “Snus” with Sebastien Drums.

The Daily Whiz

14 Apr

What’s up my fellow cheeseheads?? Sorry for the late post, the internet connection here is awful. Wise had a very good thing posted the other day. I just want to also give you my personal thanks as well. You guys are great and we appreciate all the support so far!

In today’s whiz I want to feature the dynamic, two man based Electro production out of Cleveland,OH. They call themselves DIGIRAATII. DIGIRAATII developed onto the electronic music scene, in early 2009, and has been killing it ever since. Authorizing themselves, from the start, as electronic music’s own “digital elite” or digerati. They suddenly made a name for themselves by causing a near panic in every direction, every time they hit the tables. Equipped with their heart pounding bass lines and chaotic melodies, I can’t stop listening.

Here are a couple previews they have recently released.

Skyrunner – Red Rooms (DIGIRATTII Remix) (Preview)

Machine Gun Kelley (feat. Aaron Lafette) – Fantasy (DIGIRATTII Remix)

DIGIRAATII – The Thrill Can Kill (Hot Mess Remix) (Preview)
