Okay, now we start today’s post. This is another duo I found and they hail all the way from Serbia. RIOT 87 was a band that originally formed by Darko Andrić (Producer, DJ, Remixer). In 2005 they started with a genre called psytrance. They had people talking of psytrance all over the world, from Brazil to Russia, a lot of DJ’s and fans showed support for their new style. In 2007, Igor Despotović joined the band as a guitar player. Late 2008, Darko soon switched the band into a whole new direction and went straight into drum ‘n’ bass and dubstep. Shortly after leaving psytrance, the group quickly picked up on their new style. Their goal is to reach as many new fans as possible and to plant their name on the dubstep and drum ‘n’ bass scenes in Europe and USA as a new promising act and the only act who seriously mix up dubstep, drum ‘n’ bass and rock, fusing the genres in an amazing RIOT 87 live show.
